Welcome to the Glen Ogle 33m Ultra Marathon
The 2012 race will take place on Saturday 3rd November, starting at Strathyre.
Entries will open on Sunday 1st July and will be limited to 200 places.
Entry will be via this website and PayPal.
Format for the race will be largely the same and the course will be 33 miles-ish.
The thinking behind the race is to have a relaxed and informal end-of-season event.
Distance is perfect for those looking to step up to ultra distance from marathons and on a good day the course is a fast one.
The course was specifically picked so that it could be run safely no matter what the Scottish weather is doing. Its not technical underfoot and you're never too far from access to local roads.
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel due to extreme weather (extreme meaning the local roads are closed), the race will be rescheduled.
